Had this for a little over a month now and it’s so comfortable! I WFH and am in the chair 8+ hours a day.well it's not a bad chair but needs thicker seat cushion .feels like your sitting on a board arfter a while .thats the only thing really wrong with it .Updated review 11/26/2016.If I could get the gas cylinder out, I'd still be using this chair. Gas cylinder lasts for about 11 months, very tough to get out. Tried a rubber mallet. Tried a hammer and a wood block. One sledgehammer later it came out. Replacement was a universal cylinder, the cylinder used isn't universal. Replacing this chair with a different model. Considering buying a pvc pipe in order to keep the chair at its height with less pressure on the gas cylinder.If you buy this chair, I recommend greasing the hole of the wheel base that you put the gas cylinder in, otherwise I hope you never need to use this chair outside of its lowest setting.First off shipping was very fast. Assembly was easy, took me all of 10 minutes maybe to put everything together. The back of the chair was the only real difficult part of assembly as the chair is a bit heavy. Once it's together though, wow. Love the width, the material is holding up so far, cushions are also fine after being in constant use for the last 4 days. I may just purchase a second one for my house as I bought the first for work.My only complaint would be that the chair won't stay leaning back without you using a stool or something to keep yourself propped back.Large for the bigger man. Heavy and durable. One of the arms came broken. I contacted the company and they promptly sent me a replacement arm.I bought this because it says it can handle up to 400lbs. Well, it really can handle that but it is so heavy that on a carpeted floor - you just about can not move it. I'll have to get a different chair but I'll keep this on so when my brothers come over I can let them sit in it. Then I'll just go "Why don't you come over here?" and watch them try to move the chair. :-)Since the brand isn't exactly mainstream, I didn't get my hopes up too high. However, my fears turned out to be unfounded... this chair is actually better than the one it replaced. The seat is transcendentally comfortable, and it's more than big enough to give me shifting space. The adjustable armrests were especially helpful in getting my arms at just the right height to eliminate the possibility of contracting carpal tunnel syndrome.To make a long story short (I know, too late) I highly recommend the purchase of this chair. It's excellence on a budget.I don't normally write reviews, but I felt I needed to mention a couple of things about this chair.Quality - Size is perfect. The extra width really helps out a lot. However, the pad in which you sit on only after a couple of days seems to be worn down. Chair seems stable.Assembly - Item provided easy to read instructions. However, the angle brace for the back piece was insufficiently engineered for assembly. We had to smash into place to boltit to the chair pad.Overall, 4 star rating.Edit: After about a year of use, the piston on the chair is starting to give out. After sitting in it after 20-30 minutes...I notice myself slow sinking to the floor. Worthless.What I'm really upset about is that I paid well over $250 for this and now it is is almost $100 cheaper. Probably because this thing is junk. Don't buy. Find something better.
