The armrests are adjustable, but they do not stay in place! Any slight movement or change of your sitting position when your arms are on the armrest will force them to change the direction they are facing, sometimes digging into your body, sometimes leaning out too far to support your weight.I've tried to adjust the bolts in the bottom and other things, nothing has helped.Aside from the armrests it's a great chair. That's why I've given it four stars. It's comfortable, it was easy to put together, at least as is relative to putting office chairs together. The back supports well. It can clearly hold enough weight to support me, which is nearly the highest weight it claims to be able to support.The wheels roll well even on carpet. The materials that make up the chair are very sturdy. All in all it was well worth the money.But the dang armrests are so annoying!I used to have a chair that allowed you to adjust the armrests in a somewhat similar fashion, but you could widen them from the base where they attached to the chair, not at the top where the armrests are.If you are a big guy and have a hard time finding a chair that makes you comfortable for long periods of time I suggest you buy this one. I LOVE this new chair.The seat is wide for butts and thighs. The seat is cushy and supportive. I have sciatica and chronic inflammation in my back so the "water fall" seat makes me strain my back. My work around is to put pillow at the front of my chair. The back is ok, but my back doesn't touch the rest until I lean back. The arms do not in place so using them to adjust yourself into the seat does not work - they move on you.UPDATE 10/2021: The vendor finally responded to me and sent a replacement piston. No instructions were included but a bit of googling and I was able to swap the broken one with the replacement. Working well so far, chair functions as it should.ORIGINAL 9/2021: Ordered the chair in January 2021, assembly was straight forward and was functioning as intended until the piston that controls the chair height broke causing the chair to randomly drop.As it was within the 1 year warranty time frame I contacted the vendor via e-mail and they stated they would send me a replacement piston. I provided the information they requested to ship the replacement part but was surprised when I received an undeliverable notification. I tried to contact them via their chat bot several times but only received a generic message and no follow-up response.The assembly was easy but the plastic caps over the screws were a little difficult to push in. But the little gap didn't bother me. It would have been perfectly fine without the plastic caps as well.I ordered this for my home office. I use the chair and stand sometimes. It's comfy and easy to use. I do wish the adjustable lumbar support could be move higher. I am 5'3" and the highest position of the lumbar support seems to barely match the curve on my back. It sits right above my hip at the highest position and it would have been better if I could adjust it higher. I don't think it would feel great for a tall person if you are buying this product for this specific feature. But my boyfriend likes it so I ordered a second one for him. Our dog loves sitting and sleeping in it too.It was $80 when I purchased but it has dropped to $60 after a week. I might not have purchased again at $80 but I think $60 is a solid price for the quality and comfort.It's only $80, and any other chair in this price range seems to have fake/paid reviews. After about 3 hours of reading reviews and browsing different catalogs, I would up pulling the trigger on this one.Pros:- Arm Rests are attached with four bolts, 2 on the seat, 2 on the back. This is a pro for me as my last chair, more expensive btw, had only 1 bolt on both; and started creaking after awhile.- Comfy Seat.- No creaking, again the last gaming chair I bought was so creaky.- Casters are smooth, not sure how well they work as I swapped them out with bearing style carpet wheels.- Back support is solid, it provides very nice posture and I have not had a backache after a long gaming sesh or late night paperwork yet.Cons-Only had for a week, so I'm not sure of the longevity of the chair yet.-No headrest, but for the price point I wasn't expecting one-This chair does not lean back. The front wheels lift before I can lean back in it. I'm only 145lbs so for someone heavier it may not be a problem. This chair is rated for 275lbs.Anyway, yeah, great chair so far.The lumbar support pad broke a month ago, and the lower-rear right arm just broke today. Bought on Mar 30, 2021 (lasted 6-1/2 months). On the bright side, the seat was nice and sturdy and helped with hips.Update [2021-10-15] - The vendor kindly reached out to me and is sending replacement parts. I wasn't even expecting a reply, as the more inexpensive office items are usually considered disposable after six months.Update [2021-10-23] - I received the replacement parts and have updated this rating to a 4, however, this rating was really more about the product breaking than the vendor, who have been very helpful.I was worried about putting this together by myself and it would have been easier with another person but it is doable. It only took about an hour to put together and the directions are very helpful. It's comfortable and very nice to look at. A great value for the price. Very comfortable and fairly easy to assemble.
