We ordered these chairs for a large office with many shaped and sized people. They are nice and large, great for tall folks as well. The problem with these chairs is that the base, where the leg meets the castors is completely flimsy plastic that snapped in two on two of the five chairs we ordered within days. Now the fact that these are big and tall chairs and someone big or tall (in no way the 400 lbs that they are listed as holding) now sits in this chair and the leg snaps off! We have never had this problem with ANY regular chairs we have ever had in this office. It completely humiliates the big/tall person! The plus side is this company is very nice and helpful and have replaced many parts already on these chairs, but it in no way makes up for this horrible design flaw and basically false advertising because these chairs would probably snap at the legs if any sized person sat in them.Bought this for a family member who weighs 300lbs max, didn't even own it a year, when the legs broke while she was sitting in it. Keep in mind, it wasn't the wheel that broke, the actual leg broke! Did not realize this when I bought it, but the legs are plastic. How can a chair have a 400lb weight capacity and be made out of plastic? Bad quality, not durable, and caused her to fall on the floor when it broke. For something that had minimal to moderate use since it was bought, I would have expected it to last longer and not break.THE CHAIR ITSELF IS GREAT, VERY COMFORTABLE.THE WHEELS ARE CHEAP AND CHEWED UP THE FLOOR PROTECTOR IN A FEW MONTHS. SAME FLOOR PROTECTOR WAS THERE WITH MY OLD CHAIR AND SHOWED VERY LITTLE WEAR AFTER 3 YEARS SO I KNOW IT'S THE WHEELS.Though this chair is strong enough for the big and tall, it is not actually very supportive. The back rest does not come far enough forward to provide any support for me while working at the computer. From an aesthetics standpoint the chair isn't much to look at either. Has more of a low budget look than I would like to project.The wheels on this chair are very low quality. Hardly moves on a very low carpeted floor. I'm looking to upgrade to better casters. Had much better stability on normal chairs that were not billed as "big and tall". Not impressed at all. I don't see this chair having much longevity.Good size back for extra tall people, however, they would like it to go up higher.I've owned lots of chairs over the years but this was my first heavy weight purchase because I wanted something sturdy and without arms. It broke at the wheel base within a year. I have never even seen a chair break like this before. Perhaps it is a design flaw. Cash down the drain.one of my wheels broke, I would like to get a replacement. I could not find where to get a rplacement
