Embrace classic mid-century modern style with the timeless plastic shell office chair design. Crafted with a one-piece molded plastic chair seat, arms, and back, this side chair is perhaps the most comfortable, practical, and durable seat you’ll ever sit upon. Made with recyclable polypropylene (PP) plastic in a matte, subtly textured finish, the chair seat is ergonomically molded to with bend resistant back support. Assembly is easy; click the castors into place, and screw the chair seat onto the base. Smooth plastic will protect your floor from scratches and keep the chair evenly leveled. These task chairs feature a basic modern minimalist design that looks especially great in Nordic, Scandi, and contemporary homes, but their simple clean design lets it fit in with any home décor theme. You’ll want them in every room in your house; kitchen, dinette, dining room, living room, study, or home office!
SIZE Overall 24” W x 35” H x 24” D; Seat 18”W x 17” D; Seat Height 16”; Backrest 16” H
COMPOSITION The chair seat, arms, and backrest are molded with solid polypropylene (PP) plastic, a sturdy recyclable material. The metal base holds five rolling casters for smooth wheeling.
EASY ASSEMBLY The chair legs come pre-assembled. All you need to do is put the casters into place, and screw the legs into the seat.
EASY TO CLEAN The chair’s sleek shape makes it easy to clean, with no nooks and crannies for dirt to get stuck. Simply wipe down with a damp cloth, and the chair will look beautiful again.
ERGONOMIC DESIGN Contoured backrest and curved seat is designed to be comfortable for any body type, and minimizes back strain.
The box the chair came in was damage and taped over several times. Somehow the contents were mostly intact, but the white plastic seat had several scratches/marks that don't wash off. The chair wheel spokes are thin metal, poorly welded and the stem joint cover (to hide the welds) is actually made of flimsy plastic! There were no instructions on how to assemble it. Put together, the chair seems reasonably stable but I am skeptical how long it will last. Certainly not worth the $130+ it sells for. Give yourself a break and go to Ikea instead.
