The chair is easy to assemble and very comfortable. However I am 6’6 and have a very long torso. If I sit up straight with correct posture, my head is a little too high for the headrest with it fully extended. To fit right I have to slouch a little. I messaged the seller to see if they could offer an extender but they never responded. As a tall person at around 6'8, I highly approve of this product (I got the tall version). I've never had such an ergonomically satisfying product. If you're around my height, you understand the struggle it is to find a seat in which your legs are able to extend to a 90 degree angle comfortably. I even had to lower the chair just a tad bit because it was actually a little bit too tall at the highest setting. This means this chair could easily work well for someone up to potentially 7 feet tall. They even gave me the normal sized hydraulic part just in case the tall one was too tall (or maybe if in the future you got rid of it to someone shorter, just swap out the hydraulics). The assembly was easy to follow, probably around 30 minutes tops. While the price may be a bit on the higher end, this is arguably one of the most comfortable chairs I have ever owned.Beware if you are in between 6'1'' and 6'3'' and around 200 lbs with an abnormal frame(long legs, short torso, long arms), this chair may be incredibly uncomfortable for you. Even getting up every hour and doing squats and other hamstring stretches this chair creates a pretty bad imbalance within your legs., usually within 15-20 minutes for me. I believe this is due to the seat sitting at a slight upward angle, causing your hips to be below your knees no matter what height. Adjusting the height of my chair and my desk did not yield any improvement to this issue. As stated in many other reviews the cushion near the legs also digs into your thighs, further compounding the effect on your thighs being pushed up by the poor angle of the seat pan. The seat pan also has a very small tilt in all directions, I double checked all hardware and it seems to be the hardware under the seat pan, which is assembled by a different company. The hardware that has the tilt cannot be adjusted and are just rods that sit on the bracket that attaches to the seat pan. This small tilt combined with the digging into the thighs and your thighs being above your knees is just an ergonomic nightmare.Even if the tilt in the seat pan was corrected from the other company the thigh and knee issue is still a deal breaker for me. All of these issues combined to a very poor sitting experience that I really could feel my posture degrade the more I sat in it. I am a very active person and have had to increase stretching and exercises immensely to combat just how uncomfortable it really is for me. I should have returned the chair and paid the restocking fee to save some of the ache when I was still within the allowed time. In the meantime a chair that is roughly 1/5th the price is providing way more comfort.I was nervous spending this amount of money on a chair I had been unable to sit in ahead of time but trusted the reviews here and on other sites. Thankfully that trust was well placed. I am 6ft 7in and this chair has more than enough height for my long legs. In fact I actually have the seat height set lower than its highest setting. This is a first for me since I was kid. Assembly was straightforward. The materials are good quality and there are various settings for lumbar support, recline etc. Very happy with my purchase. For shorter (normal) sized people there is another cylinder supplied with the chair so check which cylinder you need before starting the assembly process.Like the others here have said, this chair is super streamlined, sturdy, and quite comfortable but not at the expense of excellent back support. The only thing I would point out is that unless you are working at a sit/stand desk or are over 6 feet tall, you may want to install a shorter heavy duty cylinder into it instead of the factory one, as it does sit pretty high even on its "lowest" setting. I installed a Gromax 165D.HD cylinder I purchased from that popular online e-auction site, and it is PERFECT. Another thing that adds height in my case is the 3" aluminum / chrome rollerblade wheels I have installed. Look online here on Amazon and I'm sure you'll find some that work perfectly well - just know it will add about 3/4" - 1" of extra height that you might regret unless you get a shorter cylinder to offset the raise. With my short cylinder and rollerblade wheels, this chair is PERFECT for me - I REALLY like it so far. It's the most expensive office chair I've purchased thus far. It glides silently and effortlessly, doesn't make any noises like my old one, and is amazingly supportive and comfortable whether sitting up straight or chilling out in a reclined position. I'm VERY happy with my purchase and minor modifications to it.If you're looking for a very good chair with some nice polished accents and a modern design, this is definitely a GREAT choice.Directions and build are easy; however, be mindful of which cylinder you use. Two cylinders are provided, one called "standard" and one for use by people around 5 foot, 6 inches, give or take. I am 5' 11" so I used the standard cylinder but found the chair was way too high. My feet dangled when I tipped the chair back. An initial attempt at swapping out the standard cylinder for the shorter was pretty challenging so I accepted the situation as it was. However, after reading through the other reviews, I decided I was going to do whatever it reasonably took to swap cylinders. 1.5 hours later, with a can of WD-40, a rubber mallet, vise grips, and a couple of allen wrenches, I got the longer cylinder out and the shorter cylinder in.The chair is now perfect and exactly what I wanted. I almost stayed home from work today to spend time sitting in and appreciating how solid it is. And appreciate my wife for the six hundred bucks...SO - UNLESS YOU HAVE SUPER LONG LEGS TAKE THE TIME TO CONSIDER YOUR CHOICE OF CYLINDERS BEFORE YOU BUILD YOUR CHAIR!!!
