So I've been using this chair for a few weeks now and I've finally come to the conclusion that they're absolutely awful. I rarely leave reviews, but sitting at my desk for 12 hours a day, I had to leave one about these. First of all, they're beautiful, don't get me wrong there. But that's about all that I can say on the positive side.The cushion padding in these chairs is practically non-existent. It's about 1" thick, and I'm sure in the next 2 to 3 months that will compress to close to nothing. The worst part for me is that there are 4 screws that stick through the bottom to secure the base plate. The problem is, these screws are longer than the thickness of the compressed cushion when you sit. So unless you sit in a VERY specific way, you've got 4 screws sticking straight into your bottom.Ever since buying these chairs my hip flexors have been fired up and tight as heck, and I do yoga 3 times a week. I have a standing desk, and it's safe to say it's gotten more use in the 3 weeks I've owned these chairs than in the last 2 years that I've owned the standing legs.I've spent a lot of money on chairs over the years, for ergonomics, comfort, style, all of the reasons you'd spend a lot of money on chairs. These are the most expensive, best looking, biggest waste of money I've ever spent on a chair.If you care more about form than function, these are the chairs for you. If you don't want to spend $200 on a piece of pleather and wood with screws in your @$$, keep looking.Was easy to assembleGood looking chairSad to say, I do not like this chair. I like the look of it, but I purchased it because I wanted something that would look decent in my living room, where I had to set up a make-shift office for teleworking. It is not comfortable on a 6-8 hr per day basis. It looks nice, and was easy to put together but, I had to break down and buy a regular office chair for my needs.
