Firstly, about Squadise:The first chair arrived damaged, with a very beaten up box. A bottom bracket was bent due to the treatment of the box, which made it impossible to assemble. Squadise really went above and beyond and shipped me an entirely new chair and said I could keep the first one despite me offering to ship it back, or simply receive the piece that was damaged to save them some money. Talk about service!!! This was clearly the fault of FedEx, and I sincerely hope Squadise was able to get shipping insurance to take care of it, as I'd prefer my money go to such an honest company rather than to FedEx which is very often careless with peoples stuff.ASSEMBLY:This is not the easiest thing to assemble in the world, but it's far short of the hardest. You need to be mindful of which way the arms go on, as they only go on one way or the bolts are not long enough to assemble it. I found it's much easier to attach the arms to the back of the chair first before the base. The bolts also have very fine threading, which means they're VERY particular about the angle you attempt to screw them in, and you need to be very precise. Apart from those little issues, it's pretty self explanatory, and it took me about 1/2 an hour to get together.COMFORT:The chair is probably best for people 5'8" and up, if you're any shorter your feet may not rest flat on the ground on the lowest position which isn't great for leg circulation. I am 6'1" and 207lbs, and this chair fits me like a glove. However, the base is the bog standard hydraulic cylinder size, so you can purchase a shorter replacement cylinder and lower the chair down if it's too high for you.CONCLUSION:My back is kind of garbage because I spend a lot of time sitting down, as I work in IT, and after a few hours of sitting in this chair my back feels better than it did before I sat down. It really encourages good posture, and unlike other "posture" chairs, this one feels much more natural and not like it's forcing you to sit correctly. For the price, I'm very satisfied, as the chairs I looked at locally were $200+ for the same quality of material, and most were not as comfortable as this until you were looking in the $300+ range. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, and very happy with Squadise!I like this chair, and I use it every day in my home office. Having said that, there are a few issues that I wish I'd known. The padding on the arms is of poor quality and compressed/lost it's shape within a couple of weeks after assembling. The assembly was a bit difficult and time consuming, the pieces didn't line up as correctly as they should have. It made negotiating the screws into the holes and through arm supports quite challenging. The locking mechanism on the recline function is loose, and there is a noticeable movement...even when locked. Lastly, the screw covers seem to pop off all the time. I'm constantly pulling them out of my dog's mouth and reattaching them (when they've not already been chewed beyond recognition...). It's a descent chair, but I'd have searched a bit longer if I'd seen a similar review.I love this chair. The only thing I hate about the chair is not being able to keep my husband and grandkids out of it and turning on my back massagerChair is amazing! It's very comfort, and I love the soft leather.Assembly was easy and quick, except for the last part where I had to put on the arms. For some reason, the holes on the right arm did not align well. I had to re-loosen and re-tighten the screws multiple times over about 20 minutes just to get 2 of the screws in. I don't think there's any permanent damage or stripped holes, but I'm not going to take this apart or put it together again.----Update: I've bought a few other office chairs recently, and none of them come close to the comfort of this one. Adding back the last star.I've bought to many chairs for my son who is always using a chair, I've researched so many cause they break so easily. He's bigger & rocks it & nothing lasts but this chair, its so worth it, I have nothing negative to say about this chair my son said this is the best chair hes ever used & he's had many, go & purchase ?I received my LCH high-back chair a few days ago and am certainly not sure about this purchase. To start, installation was ridiculous. The instructions provided were a single sheet of paper, no words, just images (see attached). You'd think that given the lack of words, the build would be a symmetric build in that no notes would be required on which arm rest goes on which side, for example. Not the case! Each arm rest goes on a particular side of the chair, unbeknownst to anyone who reads the instructions. So, good waste of 20 minutes trying valiantly to attach both arm rests with screws that seemed way too short only to find out that if you flip the arms, the screws go in much further and can attach to the back.From there, more problems! The bolts on the armwrest do not readily line up with the holes on the side of the back and thus the nuts or whatever is in there. So, even with other bolts loosened, I had to get out my impact driver to smash the bolts into place. Not something a consumer product should have to require.During this process, one of the bolts tore away part of the leather. It's not visible once the arms are on, but it's clear that this is the typical cheap, thin leather you see on chairs these days.On the positive note, it otherwise assembled easily and is pretty comfortable. However, I'm not sure how much longevity this thing has.I am 5'5", a little short for this chair but it is so comfortable. The ergonomics are great. The lumbar support is noticable right away. I have no more pain in my back and hips. I also like the built in messager. Assembly was easy. The arms were a little tricky but I figured out a good system to get all four screws in place. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.
