Steer the course and sail to an island called style. Jive Executive Office Chair is the result of chair makers who decided to design a chair that just works. Functionally, it is a pleasure to sit in as the durable ribbed vinyl back provides natural posture support. The seat cushion and arms are padded, while the form of the armrests was intended to maximize a 90-degree wrist angling for typing. Jive Ergonomic Office Chair chrome-plated aluminum base is fitted with five dual-wheel casters, while a tension knob and tilt lock allow for easy back position adjustments. This is an adjustable swivel chair made for the modern office and a welcome embodiment of the spirit of progress and determination.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of materials and ease of assembly. The leather is nice quality, similar to what you find in a car's interior. The cushions are exactly as comfortable as I assumed they would be; meaning firm, but still nice. The metal used is heavy, durable, and appears to have a nice thick chrome layer, so I expect it will be quite durable. The chair looks and functions exactly as described. I only gave it 4 stars because it doesn't have a tilt function, and the seating position is leaning just a little bit too far forward with no adjustability. It's not far enough that you feel like you are sliding out of the seat, but it is enough that sitting for long periods puts a strain on your core muscles. This is the perfect chair for a casual office that gets used frequently, but not full time. If you are looking for a chair that you will use for extended periods every day, such as for full time work or gaming, this appears that it will be durable enough to last, but I would suggest something with an adjustable seating angle.Overall it's priced very well for the quality. This chair looks great and is well constructed. The pieces fit together well and while attaching the very solid arms is a tiny bit awkward, once tightened down, there isn't any annoying arm-rest wobble. It is a sleek and very good looking chair. But it is a chair for the totally ALERT user. The back has almost no spring or flexibility. It is upright and you will not be leaning back to take a relaxed phone call or a power-nap in it at 3:00 in the afternoon. It's great for my purposes at home, but not sure I would enjoy it as much at work (see power-napping issue above). This is a good quality solid chair. The box it was shipped in was pretty beat up with one of the top flaps completely loose and opened. I was afraid it would be damaged or pieces missing, but everything inside was packed well and (as far as I know because there were no instructions) all parts were accountes for.Even with the lack of instructions, assembly was pretty straightforward.-Attach wheels to base.-Slide stem into base.-Mount seat on stem.-Bolt on arms.-Cover holes with plastic pieces.Tip: Insert the bolts into the arms, place the mating dohicky over the threads, slide threads into chair. An Allen wrench was included. All in all, it was put together in under 10 minutes.Chair has a lever to raise or lower the seat and a knob in the front to control the tension of the tilt. Pulling the height lever out while in an upright position will lock the seat in place preventing it from tilting. Chair cannot lock in a tilted position.I'm 5'7" and found the chair to be a good fit, very slightly on the bigger side. Raised to full height, the front half of my foot touches the ground while my heel is slightly raised. I'd rather have a chair sit too high than too low. The lumbar support is prominent enough, yet not so much that it would cause back aches. The chair padding is on the firmer side, but that's how I like my chairs. I find myself more aware of my posture in this chair. I appreciate it because I'm trying to break the habit of slouching as my sitting posture has been giving me a sore back and shoulders.Overall, it's a bit on the pricier side for a chair of this style, but makes up for it in quality. This is a solid chair that should last a few years.I was looking for an attractive chair for my husband's office, but it still needed to be comfortable enough that he could sit in it for a work day. This appeared to be well structured and the price was pretty good so we ordered it and crossed our fingers. Honestly, for the price I was expecting this to be a just so-so. When I opened the box and started taking out the pieces I was surprised by the weight of each item. To put the chair together you simply attach the arms with the included allen wrench, pop the casters on the base, drop the stem into the base and then put the main seat portion on the stem and you're done. Took me all of five minutes. My husband liked that the chair raises fairly high as his desk is slightly taller than a standard desk. We both found it comfortable when we sat in it. The only thing worth pointing out is that the seat is fairly firm. If you are looking for the typical, slightly overstuffed office chair seat, this isn't it. We are pleased with the quality of this item and feel that it will hold up to daily use.Like: comfort and decent quality. Nice color. Height adjustment works well.Dislike:1. packaging and box is barely adequate and not well done. After opening, the chair’s aluminum base was extremely dirty with residue leftover from manufacturing and machining. The base should’ve been washed and cleaned. The chair cushion had some residue as well and needed cleaning.2. Wheels don’t easily roll on carpet. I changed these with my old chair which has a better wheel design (rounded edges on the diameter allow the wheels to roll over carpet better). For $180 I expect better. To begin with the positives, for the price, this is a really great chair. It is very easy to assemble and looks great. It is also pretty comfortable. My only criticism is that I just bought the chair in January and now (May), it has started to squeak and creak when I recline back in it, which is incredibly annoying. A friend of mine also bought this chair, years ago, and has had no problems. Maybe I got a dud or maybe they've changed the manufacturing process. Either way, it's bothersome. I'm trying to work right now and can't concentrate because of the damn sounds coming from this chair, so I'm writing this review.Wunderschöner, stabiler, wertiger und bequemer Stuhl. Ich persönlich würde mir wünschen, es gäbe bald Stühle, die noch höher verstellbar sind. Aber das ist momentan einfach nirgends erhältlich ...Gute Qualität, für mich perfekte Ergonomik beim Arbeiten im Büro.Empfehle ich gerne weiterHaws damage
